Gary Busey, you wacky wacky man (CFC, part 1)
After watching today's ep of Celebrity Fit Club 4, I have to say that Gary Busey never ceases to amaze. Gary was on Season 2 of Fit Club, and did pretty well with weight loss, in spite of--or maybe because of--his shenanigans. The guy is like 16 steps past being way out in left field. He's a big weirdo, and I kind of love him. He's got all these weird anagrams to motivate himself and others, and is generally just spazzy like the freaky kid in your second-grade class who ate paste. Yet there's something about him, this spirit? that is inspiring. Maybe it's the fact that he's so benign, like he might look scary and knife-wielding, but you can tell he wouldn't harm a fly. In fact, he would probably adopt that fly, build it a little house, and name it Sam.

Yes! So true. You also have this sense about him that maybe he's high on something but in your heart you know it's only wheat grass and pomegranate and some juiced up anagrams.
and then sam would die after 24 hours and he'd find another fly and name him fred, then susan, mort and lore... and eventually he'd have a little fly cemetary.
one of my fav episodes of malcolm in the middle is when dewey adopts a fly and names him tony. they go everywhere together. then lois sees the fly, tries to swat it, but dewey lets him out the window, screaming, "fly, tony, fly!" then lois shakes her head and asks, "why are they always named tony?" hi-larious!
He was in an indie film I worked on, and I by one afternoon I was known as the PA who tried to stop him. (Fortunately for my ego my name wasn't attached...just "the PA.")
Apparently keeping still behind camera so that moving reflections don't show up in the shot doesn't apply to Gary Busey on his way to craft services.
He might not be high, but I would speculate that past substances or actions may have caused some permanent effects.
Did you ever see the episode of Entourage w/ Gary Busey? HilARious.
