expansive nature and creepy little cages

fog is so awesome. atmospheric even as you see it being drawn mysteriously across your path. my attempt to see the golden gate bridge thwarted... this was still completely awesome. going to alcatraz was slightly less awesome, mostly because the idea of prison is depressing... and behind the escapes though titillating are the looming realities of crime and suicide (which they barely mention)... and being locked in small cages, surprisingly low ceilinged ones at that... with damp conditions and life going on without you on the otherside even if you can't see it, you know it's there...

I especially like photo two. Fog. Trees.
Warm sweater.

I think it would feel very oppressive...like some weird manifestation of feeling you have when you do something wrong...trapped, hopeless...shivers.

The fog, though, is totally wicked.
