Mules are smarter than horses. And apparently mule racing is popular in Brazil and all over the southwest... some mules run faster than arabians and thoroughbreds. They are however, usually sterile but are the result of a mare breeding with a donkey /"jack".

if people only knew... sometimes stubborness is more indicative of intelligence than it would seem ; )
They're not always sterile? I thought they were always sterile. One of those random facts I learned during childhood
usually people are stubborn when they think they are right - perhaps they truly are more often and have reason to be stubborn?
