Taking Cue's cue, I wanted to pass along that one of our fellow MFAers, Eli Hastings, has a new book coming out in September, called Falling Room. We should all buy it, and read it, as Eli is a fantastic writer. Also, it is so important for us to celebrate each other's literary successes. Even if we are green with envy.

Just wanted to add that you too can own Falling Room by ordering straight from the University of Nebraska Press--it may be officially coming out in September but they will send it to you asap!

And I just can't bring myself to hate all of you publishing people (Eli, Brad, Catherine -- am I forgetting anyone?). Dammit!
We can, however, go on hating the people who get published but do not deserve it (like the homeless model). I've decided that is not only okay, but necessary.
