I feel like a hallow cardboard wrapping paper tube that has rolled from the grass to the sidewalk. I keep getting buffeted by the breeze and I am perilously close to some freshly spilled coffee. It will ruin me, however, the smell is somewhat consoling.

Are you sure you're on the west coast and not the east, being tossed around by the wind? Although, I guess you'd be soggy by now, too, with all the rain.
