um

My computer is currently experiencing random bouts of narcolepsy, falling asleep for no reason. I wake it up, use it for another ten minutes, and then the screen goes blank again. Also, there's an extremely disconcerting churning sound burbling from somewhere within. Clearly some kind of bad karma from yesterday's post. I don't know what's happening, but if I disappear for awhile, that's why.

Will not freak out. Will not. Damn resolution.

Yikes!

My screen was fritzing out at work yesterday (work computer, not mine), so I made a backup of all my important files.

We can't close our laptop anymore. .it's supposed to go to sleep, and does, but you can't wake it back up and end up having to hard reboot which is never good, so we don't do it. Unless one of the kids closes it before we can stop them. It's frustrating.

I backed up my files this morning... and then it stopped happening. I'm still skeptical that it's not going to crap out on me. Good grief, that not being able to close the lid problem--what a pain!

Can I just add... it sounds like a percolating coffee pot. The computer. Sounds. Like. A. Coffee Pot.

Hmm. That can't be good.

I like my coffee, but last I checked, this computer didn't come with a barista function. Who knows!
