Rash from flip flops?

hmm. spray on sunblock might? help?

there are no words for heinous things like flipflop rashes though i must question what sort of flops and can you transition to better ones. there must be an answer!

you can always wear cute little skirts too. i'm jus sayin.

hurray for summer.

ditto what M said...it's a little creepy how i was going to say exactly:

1) spray on sunblock = faster (but less cost-efficient)

2) rash-enducing flip-flops = invest in a good pair. Reef does a body good, and I hear great things about Rainbow, though I've yet to try (trust. they are worth. every. penny. you'll have them for years.)

3) skirts = way more fun than shorts!

4) i heart summer!

Will check into these magical flip-flops of which you speak. Obviously, I am wearing the cheap, crappy kind, have been for years.

Spray-on sunblock I used all last year, and speed is debatable... The pump, not so much, because it gets clogged after awhile. The more aerosol-y version is quicker, I think, but I was frustrated that it had PABA in it--the stuff that makes the sunblock run into your eyes and stings them.

i love my rainbows! and seriously that rash with cheap sandals thing is unexcusable. get yourself some good ones, leather, poly whatever but lets enjoy those free feet!

niki and i totally mind-melded. and we would never suggest the pump- i have not experienced the spray stuff 'sport' running into my eyes...i can only imagine your buying weird cheap stuff along with your weird rash giving sandals. ;)

whatEVer! it was banana boat! ;) and my knockoff target stuff this year is way better. lotion, no pump.

i like the reefs. the rainbows are cute, but i can't pay $80 at this juncture for a pair of flip-flops. someday!

um you develop rashes!!! surely amazon might have sales on rainbow or there are other sandals out there. RASHES!!!

you want to hate summer! i know it.

but... i get rashes from my wedding bands, which cost a whole lot more than the flip-flops. and necklaces, and the wrong kind of underwear... and let's not forget about my ears, which can't even tolerate earrings anymore...

summer is sort of my least favorite seasons, it's true. I grapple with it every year. i WANT to love it, but alas. :)

You could use the spray for arms and legs, lotion for the face? That's what I do sometimes, because I'm totally afraid of spraying that stuff on my face.

For the love of your feet, please invest in some decent flips. At least purchase some Reefs.

I don't understand how anyone can hate wonderful summer, especially when compared to January/February awfulness. Must be your Yankee upbringin' :) :)

I did have the same thought about arms/legs and then face. It just doesn't go on faces, period. My eyes are stinging just thinking about it.

Now J.Lo is after me about getting some Rainbows. You people and your good shoes! My arches are falling because of the terrible, terrible shoes I chose to wear all through college and high school.

It's totally my Yankee upbringing. :) Am allergic to the sun.
