Dear Penelope,

Hello,

Callie and I went to traveltown near griffith park. The unfortunate thing with having a history with travel town is you see the decline and slowly but surely you're cut off from train after train because you know, they're old and falling apart and dangerous. But then as a kid it was big enough and full of wonder no matter what... so we'll take that tack in all the wonderful colors and shapes I found. It was a lovely relaxing time.

I think you got a better selection than I did, so hooray for a successful outing.

I'm still feeling sort of blah and distracted about the ones I got. Oh well, another photo outing somewhere else.

I'm embarrassingly behind, but love this post/photo series. What a wondrous place to explore (if you are up to date on your tetanus shot)! Love the colors! And particularly like the empty inside of the car - would be sad or even perhaps spooky, yet the bright daylight makes it a much more joyous and beautiful space. I can imagine a fabulous, intimate party inside with a few tall tables and strands of lights at night, what a cool, unique location it would be.
