Dear Penelope,

Enclosed please find a poem i wrote for the salon ladies.
we four.
blooms entwined in a common grace.

we patterned, composed
and one of a kind.

sometimes synchronous and
never too far afield-

measured this season's mystery
with divine appointment,

met coincidence no more,
as we bent with breeze
and bowed with rain-

flourished in each sun,
rise up
baked with fragrance

we delectable, we inscrutible four
marveled in secret our inmost

with a hush and downturned smile
stamped crumbs off the plate.
